Coffee Table

Constructed from 15 gauge mild steel and Baltic birch plywood, this coffee table was an exploration in contrast, both of material and the weight of the respective forms.

While designing this piece, I knew there were a few processes I was interested in exploring, namely MIG and TIG welding, as well as bending steel. I love the way steel deforms when it is bent, a really beautiful detail.
